Repeating an invitation to respond.

I’m pleased to see that Councillor Gray is aware that my blog is once again up and running, so I repeat my invitation to him to address any or all of the observations I’ve made regarding a number of decisions made by the Mayor of Newham as recorded on this blog. As I stated previously, I am particularly interested in Councillor Gray’s take on the Mayor’s determination to put £40,000,000 of Newham Council funds into the Olympic Stadium (be it by way of a loan procured to fund the project or directly from Council funds).

I’ll admit that I find it somewhat peculiar that Council Gray, an enthusiastic blogger, doesn’t report on Council business. He must be an advocate of openness and transparency in government (national and local) as he was a long-time member of the Liberal Democrats (having previously stood as a Lib Dem candidate in Newham) and he is now a born again Labour Party Member – putting aside any criticisms one may have about either party, it must be acknowledged that both organisations support accountable governance.

If the current mayor’s policies and decisions can stand up to scrutiny and are beneficial to the people of Newham, I would have thought that Councillor Gray would be only too keen to inform his constituents, and the wider world, of their merits.

Finally, as a direct note to Councillor Gray: I have no idea what you are referring to when you state “…he's already pretending to be the very thick and stupid illiterate anon who makes obscene comments”. I’ve not submitted any anonymous comments to your blog; why would I? Think about it. I’m trying to get you to openly and publicly respond to my criticisms of the current Town Hall administration, how would an abusive and unintelligent contribution to the comments on your blog achieve that? I suspect that this is another angle on your desire to label me a bully and a thug. I wonder what it is that makes you believe that any unsupported statement made by you must be taken at face value as a fact, and yet should someone whom you view as a Tory-Trot (or is it a Trot-Tory) makes a comment you dislike or disagree with, you cry liar.

Mike
The problem is you still have not seen Gray for what he actually is - a coward.
He is the little runt who is friends with the playground bully so under that protection he does the only thing he is smart enough to do which is call names.
Don't agree with him? He calls you a name. Can't answer a question? He calls you another name.

And it's not just you - it's his mode of operation across his blog. He is one of the vilest, most unpleasant idiots I have seen elected to council in a long long time , which is high praise indeed when you see whats elected on Newham Council.

The people of Newham deserve better than Gray , parachuted into his nice safe position at the behest of that other well none Mr Nice Guy - Robin Wales.

But my sympathies now lie with Gray, he doesn't seem to realise what he has done - He has woken a GIANT.

You go for it Mike. For us all.

Welcome back Mike, yes you had us worried there, we thought that bully comedy mayor had got at you or something.
Hope you had a good Christmas and Happy New Year Mike.
Newham Staff need you, as The Labour Mayor has crushed the trade unions with the help of UNISON London Region over these recent years.

It never ceases to amaze me how People like Gray think that by attacking the messenger they diminish the message. Mr Gray would carry more credence if he actually addressed the issues you raised instead of skirting around them.

Like a good little lapdog he barks at you from his inane blog and then runs to Master Wales for his pat on the head and a biscuit.

All we ask Mr Gray is that you answer the question Mike asks as clear and concisely as you possibly can. I won't be holding my breath as I cannot recall the last time any Newham Councillor did the right thing.
